77 J <br />M <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously denied <br />the request for grading 104th Court in Vero Lake <br />Estates, as recommended by staff. <br />FINAL PAYMENT & RELEASE OF RETAINAGE - PETITION PAVING PROJECTS <br />FOR CARTER ASSOC., INC. <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 9/4/91: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Administrator <br />THROUGH: James W. Davis, P.E. <br />Public Works Director , <br />and <br />Roger D. Cain, P.E. <br />County Engineer <br />FROM: Michelle A. Gentile, <br />Civil Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Final Payment and Release of Retainage - Petition Paving <br />Projects for Carter Associates, Inc. <br />DATE:.: September 4, 1991 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The design of the following Petition Paving Projects by Carter <br />Associates, Inc. is complete: r_- <br />1) 84th Street - County Project #8639 <br />2) 83rd Place - County Project #8640- <br />3) <br />8640- <br />3) Tropical Avenue - County Project #8641 <br />4) Granada Gardens County Project #8627 <br />As part of the work order for these projects, the Consultant will <br />haveā¢to meet with the property owners to discuss the design. The <br />Engineering Division* will schedule this meeting at a later date. <br />The consultant has agreed to participate at this meeting. <br />At this time the Consultant is requesting final payment, including <br />release of the 10% retainage, in the amount of $5,320.00 as <br />withheld by the County via the agreement between the Consultant and <br />_ the County. Also $96.40 for blueprinting according to Section V.2 <br />paragraph b. of the Master Agreement. <br />RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />Since the design work is complete and the consultant has agreed in <br />good faith to attend the final meeting with the property owners, <br />staff recommends final payment, including release of the 10% <br />retainage, in the amount of $5,320.00, plus $96.40 for blueprints <br />for a total cost of $5,416.40.
