Tuesday, September 17, 1991 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission <br />Chambers, 1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, <br />September 17, 1991, at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Richard N. <br />Bird, Chairman; Gary C. Wheeler, Vice Chairman; Margaret C. <br />Bowman; Carolyn K. Eggert; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present <br />were James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, <br />County Attorney; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Jack Diehl, pastor of Our Savior Lutheran Church, <br />gave the invocation and Chairman Bird led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Administrator Chandler requested a one-week deferment on <br />Item 11-H-1 - Deep Well Effluent Disposal System Engineering <br />Agreement & Work Authorization- No. 1. <br />Administrator Chandler also requested the addition of an <br />emergency item as Item 11-G-4 regarding the inspection of Wabasso <br />Causeway Bridge. <br />Commissioner Eggert requested an addition as Item 13-D of a <br />discussion regarding the possible disincorporation of the City of <br />Fellsmere and the Town of Orchid. <br />Attorney Vitunac requested a brief report 'on the meeting he <br />attended regarding the train whistles ban. <br />Commissioner Wheeler requested the addition as Item G under <br />the Consent Agenda of approval to attend a National Criminal <br />Justice Committee seminar. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock,.the Board unanimously approved <br />the one-week deferment of Item 11-H-1 and the addition <br />of the items cited above. <br />SEP 17 1� <br />
