Finney, SRA <br />County Right of Way AgenPpv <br />Right of Way Acquisition; 20th Avenue Extension into Vero <br />Beach Highlands <br />September 26, 1991 <br />DESCRIPTION AND.CONDITIONS <br />'Additional right of way,'20' x 3001, is needed along the existing <br />35' right of way of 20th Avenue SW at the northwest corner of Vero: <br />Beach Highlands. George Lambeth is willing to sell the .14 acre <br />..right of way for $2,092.00, which is less than $15,000 per acre,; <br />44 and in line with recent county right of way purchases from the same <br />owner.. <br />-f The County,• in "1987, purchased from the same owner and same <br />property at $12,000'per acre (see attached memorandum to the Board <br />of County Commissioners). <br />'In 1988 the County purchased additional right of way for the above <br />(.again from the same owner and same property at $10,693 per acre. <br />.RECOMMENDATION AND FUNDING <br />:This offer is reasonable and an equitable settlement. Staff <br />requests authorization to purchase the .14 acre of right of way for <br />$2,092.00. <br />FUNDING _ <br />Impact Fee District 6 account. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Eggert being absent) authorized the <br />purchase of the .14 acre of right-of-way for <br />$2,092.00. <br />47 <br />MW- &A <br />OCT �� <br />
