Rison <br />Staff Planner, Current Development <br />DATE: October 14, 1991 n <br />RE: KEVIN HAWKINS' REQUEST FOR EXTENSION OF THE DIXIE RIDGE <br />COMMERCIAL PARK SUBDIVISION PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL <br />SD -90-09-16 <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of October 22, 1991. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On August 9, 1990, the Planning and Zoning Commission conditionally <br />approved a preliminary plat application submitted by Peterson and <br />Votapka, Inc., on behalf of Kevin Hawkins, for the Dixie Ridge <br />Commercial Park Subdivision. Dixie Ridge Commercial Park is a four <br />(4) lot commercial subdivision, located between Old Dixie Highway <br />and the F.E.C. Railroad right-of-way in the 1100 block of Old Dixie <br />Highway Southwest. <br />Kevin Hawkins has requested that a preliminary plat extension be <br />granted. Due to financial considerations, Mr. Hawkins is of the <br />opinion that the current preliminary plat approval expiration date <br />will pass before construction can commence.
