Tuesday, November 5, 1991 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, November 5, <br />1991, at 9:00 o'clock A. M. Present were Richard N. Bird, <br />Chairman; Gary C. Wheeler, Vice Chairman; Carolyn K. Eggert, <br />Margaret C. Bowman and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present were <br />James E. Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; and Patricia Held, Deputy Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Rev. David Mulford, Pastor First Presbyterian Church, gave the <br />invocation, and Commissioner Margaret C. Bowman led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />County Administrator Chandler requested that Item 11-G-3 be <br />moved up and discussed first because it involved the County <br />Attorney's actions at an auction of property which would take place <br />at 11:00 that morning. <br />Commissioner Bowman requested the addition under her matters <br />of a discussion regarding FEMA regulations. <br />Chairman Bird requested the addition of discussion of two <br />items of correspondence which called for directions to staff: (1) <br />a letter from Blair Smith and (2) a letter from the Florida <br />Department of Natural Resources about a Land Acquisition Workshop <br />scheduled on November 12. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously changed <br />the order of Item 11-G-3 and added the items as <br />described above. <br />WM , <br />
