This memo <br />alluded to the fact that the majority of this change order is <br />necessitated due to -changing landscaping and vegetation. He said <br />another memo will cover those kinds of things. The subject change <br />order is mainly predicated on bathhouse modification due to the <br />ramping for the bath facility for handicap requirements as well as <br />some other items, but mainly dealing with the bathhouse. The <br />future change order will reduce the project cost and staff hopes to <br />cut back some of the landscaping. Mr. Davis stated that, <br />additionally, there has been an effort to preserve the native <br />vegetation and felt there has been success in doing that. <br />Commissioner Eggert asked if there are changes expected on the <br />disability laws due in January that might cause any radical changes <br />in our parks. <br />Director Davis did not think there will be any changes. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved <br />Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $9,684.69 for <br />Treasure Shores Park, Phase I, which would result in <br />a revised contract amount of $397,994.69, as <br />recommended by staff. <br />SAID CHANGE ORDER IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />SOUTH AlA SIDEWALK RESIDENT OBSERVATION SERVICES AMENDMENT NO. 1 <br />The Board reviewed memo from Capital Projects Manager Terry <br />Thompson dated October 28, 1991: <br />60 <br />
