He has been paying taxes for 32 years and is trying to <br />survive by selling only 10 or 15 acres a year. He doesn't see a <br />boom coming to Fellsmere or see people coming in there by the <br />droves and building on those 5- acre lots. Mr. Kahn urged the <br />Board to give him back the densities he had before the new Comp <br />Plan was adopted. <br />There being no others who wished to be heard, the Board <br />closed the Public Hearing. _ <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />the transmittal of the proposed land use amendment to <br />DCA for their 90 -day review. <br />Chairman Bird wished to enter into the record the following <br />letter received from Berry Farms expressing their concern about <br />the steady encroachment of residential land use into rural, <br />agricultural areas: <br />Richard N. Our <br />concern is the steady encroachment of residential land use <br />into rural, agricultural areas.
