Sheriff's Request to Expend $125 620 From Law Enforcement Trust _ <br />Fund, Budget Amendment 005 <br />The Board reviewed memo from OMB Director Joe Baird dated <br />November 12, 1991: <br />TO: , Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: November 12, 1991 <br />1 <br />SUBJECT: SHERIFF'S REQUEST TO EXPEND $125,620 FROM THE LAW ENFORCEMENT <br />TRUST FUND - (BUDGET AMENDMENT 005) - CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director `A' <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Pursuant to Chapter 932.704 of Florida State Statutes, Indian River County Sheriffs <br />Department is requesting authority to expend $125,620 from the Law Enforcement Trust <br />Fund for the following: <br />ANALYSIS <br />The Law Enforcement Trust Fund had a cash balance of $277,830.54. Only $43,000 for an <br />Anti -Drug Grant Match was budgeted in the 1991/92 fiscal year leaving an unappropriated <br />cash balance .of $234,830.54. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the Sheriffs request <br />and the amendment. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Sheriff's request to expend $125,620 from the <br />Law Enforcement Trust Fund and Budget Amendment 005 <br />as follows: <br />7 <br />POOKa�� ',i� 11` 1 <br />a� <br />V9 1991 <br />
