Out -of -State Travel (NACo Legislative Conference) <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />out-of-state travel for Commissioners and County <br />Attorney Vitunac to attend the NACo Legislative - <br />Conference in Washington, D.C., February 29 through <br />March 3, 1992. <br />C. Dedication of Decommissioned Watertank Site at Vista Gardens to <br />the Vista Homeowners' Association <br />The Board reviewed memo from Capital Projects Engineer William <br />McCain dated November 19, 1991: <br />,r - <br />DATEt NOVEMBER 19, 1991 <br />TO: JAMES E. PINT <br />DIRECTOR OF UTILITY VICES <br />PREPARED WILLIAMF McCAIN <br />AND STAFFED CAPITAL P CTS E 1NEER <br />.BY: DEPARTM LITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: _ DEDICATION OF THE DECOMMISSIONED WATER TANK SITE AT <br />VISTA GARDENS TO THE VISTA HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION <br />BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS <br />In keeping with the terms of the original franchise agreement with <br />Vista Properties, the Utilities Department was obligated to deed the <br />Vista Gardens water tank site back to Vista Properties (see attached <br />property location map and legal description). subsequently, Vista <br />Properties has indicated a wish to have the property deeded to the <br />Vista Homeowners Association (see attached correspondence from Vista <br />Properties). The Utilities staff has completed a survey of the <br />property and has removed all connections to the water distribution <br />within Vista Gardens. We are, therefore, requesting Board approval <br />to deed this property over to the Vista Homeowners Association. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Utilities Department recommends that -the Board of <br />County Commissioners approve the deeding of this property to the <br />Vista Homeowners Association. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously approved <br />deeding the Vista Gardens watertank site back to <br />Vista Properties and authorized the Chairman to <br />execute the Deed for the site. <br />COPY OF SAID DEED IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />3 <br />
