Richard•Mayson, Chief <br />Natural Hazards Branch, NTHD <br />FEMA - Region IV <br />1371 Peachtree Street, NE, Suite 700 <br />Atlanta, GA 30309 <br />RE: Indian River County CRS Application <br />Dear Mr. Mayson: <br />I am writing in my capacity as Chairman of the Indian River County <br />Board of County•Commissioners, requesting a Class 9 Community <br />Rating System*(CRS) classification for unincorporated Indian River <br />County. , <br />Please find enclosed two copies of a complete CRS application, <br />including a summary, Application Worksheets, and appropriate <br />documentation. I hereby certify that Indian River County is <br />implementing the activities described in the aforementioned <br />material. <br />Moreover, I hereby certify that, to the best of my knowledge, <br />Indian River County is maintaining, in force, all flood insurance <br />policies that the County was required to obtain as a condition of <br />Federal financial assistance for insurable buildings owned by the <br />County and located in special flood hazard areas, as applicable. <br />The Board of County Commissioners has designated Community <br />Development Director Bob Keating, (.or his designee, Roland. .DeBlois, <br />Chief of Environmental Planning) as the County *CRS .Coordinator. <br />Bob or Roland can be reached at: <br />I.R.C.
