UW -90 -21 -DS <br />J <br />ACKGROUN <br />,..The subject project for construction of a water main to service <br />residents 'of 'Miraflores Subdivision has been completed.--- The <br />installation has been accepted by the Department of Utility <br />'Services, and proper certification has been provided --to--=-the <br />_Department of.Environmental Regulation. <br />v't °'tyc_.r7 r'� my�y3 z",;; }". �• - _ <br />+ANALYSIS : <br />On May. 7, -..1991,' the Board of County Commissioners approved funding <br />of -;$24,036.00 for this project, and the contractor is now requesting <br />elinal payment. • The contractorl's final cost totaled $20,5D4.0.0, <br />.including Change Order No. 1 (attached). This cost, plus <br />engineering, inspection, and administrative costs, totals <br />x$23,970.00, or approximately $0.0342:per square foot. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends approvalJ• <br />of the attached change order and request for payment in the amount <br />.of $20,504.00 for services rendered. <br />ON MOTION by.
