Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 009 <br />The Board reviewed memo from OMB Director Joe Baird dated <br />January 8, 1992: <br />VIG <br />DATE: <br />SUBJECT: <br />Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />January 8, 1992 <br />MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 009 - CONSENT AGENDA <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird* <br />OMB Director `'' <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. At their December 10, 1991 meeting the Board of County <br />Commissioners approved acquisition of Voting Machines in the amount <br />of $12,736.00. <br />2. The Board of County Commissioners approved monitoring wells for <br />Fleet Management in the amount of $1,350.00 <br />3. Traffic Engineering Storage Building was not completed at the end of <br />the 1990/91 fiscal year and the funds need to be moved to the current <br />year. <br />4. Welfare Department had computer terminals in their 1990/91 fiscal year <br />budget; however, the terminals were not delivered until the 1990/92 fiscal <br />year and the funds need to be moved to the current year. <br />5. The Board of County Commissioners approved the acceptance of <br />additional- funds from South Beach residents to purchase equipment for <br />the EMT D program. This budget amendment is to allocate the funds. <br />6. Indian River County Citrus League donated an additional $824.00 to the <br />County Ag. Extension Department for the purchase of a fax machine to <br />use for a weather advisory program. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve the attached budget <br />amendment number 009. <br />9 <br />JAN i4 1997 <br />
