ARCHITECT'S PRESENTATION OF COURTHOUSE DESIGN <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 1/13/92: <br />DATE: JANUARY 13, 1992 <br />TO: HONORABLE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />THRU: JAMES E. "SONNY" DEAN, DIRECTOR <br />DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL SERVI S <br />SUBJECT: INDIAN RIVER COUNTY COURTHOUSE PROJECT <br />BACKGROUND: <br />The new Courthouse Planning Committee along with staff, the Architect <br />and Program Manager have completed the planning stage of the subject <br />project. The schematic plans along with the elevations are ready for <br />submittal to the Board of County Commissioners. A presentation will <br />be made to the Board on January 21, 1992. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS: <br />The committee, in unison, recommends approval of this project as <br />submitted, and request permission to proceed with the drawings and <br />documents for bidding purposes. <br />General Services Director Sonny Dean introduced Michael F. <br />Thomas, president of Justice Planning Associates, Inc. and the <br />following architects from The Office of Pierce) Goodwin-, Alexander & <br />Linville of Tampa, Florida: Eugene Aubry, Director of Design; <br />James L. Musgraves, Director of Architecture; and Randy A. Park, <br />AIA. <br />Mr. Aubry advised that the presentation would begin with an <br />overall description of the plan, followed by charts of the floor <br />plans and elevations, slidefilms of the design, and finally the <br />unveiling of the scale model. <br />13 <br />Y P C, a tl l <br />BOOK <br />JAN 1 I <br />
