Cox, P.E j.448WC,.- <br />Civil Engineer - <br />SUBJECT: Request for Floodplain Cut and Fill Balance Waiver for <br />Donald and Mary -Ann Page Residence, Lot 4, Block 17, Vero <br />Lake Estates, Unit 3, 8205 92nd Avenue <br />REFERENCE: Building Permit No. 91100129 <br />DATE: January 17, 1992 CONSENT AGENDA <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />A Type C Flood Management System Permit was issued by the <br />Engineering Division for the subject single family detached <br />residence on November 4, 1991. A cut and fill balance was to be <br />provided for in the rear of the lot by a proposed floodplain <br />retention area 115 FT. long by 50 FT. wide by 18 inches deep. The <br />building permit was issued on November 6, 1991. In the attached <br />letter dated December 19, 1991 the contractor has requested the <br />Board to grant a cut and fill balance waiver. A revised lot <br />grading plan has been submitted to eliminate the rear lot retention <br />area if the waiver is granted. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The waiver request has been reviewed by staff and appears to meet <br />the criteria of Section 930.07(2)td,)4. of the Stormwater Management <br />and Flood Protection Ordinance for lots over 1.0 acres located in <br />the Vero Lake Estates Municipal Services Taxing Unit. This waiver <br />criteria was adopted by the Board on December 4, 1991 as part of <br />18 <br />
