r77 <br />The Board agreed with the position of the Children's Services <br />Advisory Committee not to have a straw ballot in November, 1992. <br />MAIN LIBRARY - FIRST ANNIVERSARY <br />Chairman Eggert wished to remind everyone that the first <br />anniversary of the opening of the Main Library will be celebrated <br />on Saturday, February 1, 1992, at 1:00 p.m. <br />RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE SURFACE WATER IMPROVEMENT AND MANAGEMENT <br />(SWIM) PROGRAM <br />Commissioner Wheeler advised that the MANWAC recommended that <br />we pass a resolution to keep the SWIM funds in the budget. He <br />agreed that the SWIm funds are a priority and believed there are <br />other places to cut the budget. <br />Commissioner Bowman advised that with $4,000 they did a whole <br />new surface water management thing up in Dale Wjmbrow Park and <br />another in Sebastian at Riverview where all the surface water was <br />going into the river. A lot has been done with a little bit of <br />money. <br />Commissioner Wheeler added that projects have been done at <br />Round Island Park and boat launching sites. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 92-22, supporting the Surface Water <br />Improvement and Management (SWIM) Program. <br />87 <br />BOOK +`" A, - <br />,') F b <br />I <br />
