UW -91 -02 -DS, SUBDIVISION <br />WATER EXPANSION PLAN - PHASE I ASSESSMENT - CONTRACTS NO. <br />ONE THROUGH FIVE <br />The attached recommendation of award for contract No. 1 through 5 <br />represents the construction of the above -referenced project, as <br />approved by the Board of County Commissioners on December 3, 1991. <br />A copy of the agenda item approved describing the areas to be <br />serviced is attached. <br />SUMMARY OF WATER EXPANSION PLAN, PHASE I <br />IRC PROJECT NO. UW -91 -02 -DS <br />The Water Expansion Plan Phase I project was divided into five <br />contracts in order to allow more contractors to bid than if it <br />remained one large contract. <br />The following is a brief description of each contract: <br />Contract 1: Water transmission lines from the South County <br />R.O. Plant to 27th Avenue; transmission mains on 27th Avenue <br />from Oslo Road to 8th Street; plus Emerson Villas and Graves <br />Annex Subdivisions. <br />Contract 2: Water transmission mains along 4th Street from <br />27th Avenue to Old Dixie Highway. <br />Contract 3: Clearview Terrace and a portion of Indian River <br />Heights. <br />Contract 4: Moreland Estates Subdivision and Bonny Vista <br />Subdivision. <br />Contract 5: Large portion of Indian River Heights. <br />9 <br />FEB W92 <br />BOOK 85 F' iE bit3 <br />
