Thompson, P.E.P. <br />llir <br />Capital Projects Manager <br />FDOT Joint Participation Agreement for <br />Intersection Improvements at CR510 and SRA1A <br />January 31, 1992 FILE: jpa.jan <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Staff requested that the Florida DOT fund 50% of the <br />estimated $500,000 construction cost for proposed <br />intersection improvement at CR510 and SRA1A. The attached <br />agreement provides for the FDOT to reimburse the County for <br />direct construction costs and construction engineering <br />inspection services in an amount not to exceed $250,000. <br />The County is responsible for all costs over and above the <br />FDOT's contribution. <br />Plans and specifications for the proposed improvements are <br />90% complete. Out of the eight right-of-way parcels needed, <br />two have been acquired, three have been approved and closing <br />documents are being drafted, and three are still being <br />negotiated. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff recommends that the Chairman be authorized to execute <br />the attached Joint Participation Agreement. <br />Funding is from Account 101-151-541-033.13 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 92-33, authorizing a joint participation in <br />the construction of intersection improvements at CR -510 <br />and SR -AIA. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />34 <br />
