In addition, staff <br />recommends the purchase of the jacket heater. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously awarded <br />IRC Bid 192-67 to All Power Services in the amount of <br />$19,009, as recommended by staff. <br />H. Actuarial Study <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 2/21/92: <br />TO: James E. Chandler, County Adminis rator <br />TERU: Jack Price, Personnel Director kms✓ <br />FROM: Beth Jordan, Risk Manager,n_,�, <br />DATE: 21 February 1992 + <br />SUBJECT: Request for Board Consideration; Actuarial Study <br />Please consider this item for inclusion on the Board's March 3, <br />1992 consent agenda. <br />For the past two (2) years, Coopers & Lybrand has performed an <br />annual actuarial study of the County's self-insurance program to <br />determine adequacy of funding in keeping the governmental <br />accounting standards. We have received the attached renewal <br />proposal from Coopers & Lybrand with the not -to -exceed cost of <br />$10,000.00, the cost for the past study. Mr. Nelson has been the <br />actuary involved each year and we have found his work to be timely <br />and professional.
