FF,_ I <br />MAR io 1992 BOOK 1'A11 7 17 <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Based upon the analysis performed, staff recommends that the Board <br />of County Commissioners approve the request to rezone parcel #2 to <br />RS -3 and recommends that parcels #1 and #3 be rezoned to RM -6 <br />instead of the requested RM -8. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she closed <br />the public hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 92-05 amending the zoning ordinance and <br />the accompanying zoning map from A-1 to RS -3 and RM - <br />6, for the property generally located east of 90th <br />Avenue between 8th Street and 12th Street, as set <br />out in staff's recommendation. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 92-05 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING <br />THE ZONING ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FROM <br />A-1 TO RS -3 AND RM -6, FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED <br />EAST OF 90TH AVENUE, BETWEEN 8TH STREET AND 12TH STREET, <br />AND DESCRIBED HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a* recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that <br />this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of <br />Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: 50 <br />
