Tuesday, March 17, 1992 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, March 17, 1992, <br />at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; <br />Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Gary C. <br />Wheeler; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy <br />Clerk. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Julius Rice, Pastor of Community United Christian <br />Church, gave the invocation, and Commissioner Wheeler led the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested the addition of the following items: <br />1) As Item 11-B-2, approval of two termination agreements with <br />Treasure Coast Broadcasting Company. <br />2) As Item 13-A-3, for the record, a report on the request for a <br />state investigation. <br />3) As Item 13-A-4, appointments to the Housing Authority. <br />4) As Item 13-A-5 a report from FAC concerning the Governor's <br />request to county government. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously added the above <br />items to today's Agenda. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />The Chairman asked if there were any corrections or additions <br />to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of January 28, 1992. There <br />were none. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously approved the <br />Minutes of the Regular Meeting of 1/28/92, as written. <br />BOOK C, <br />boij <br />MAR 171992 <br />L- <br />
