Tuesday, April 7, 1992 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, April 7, 1992, <br />at 9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn R. Eggert, Chairman; <br />Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr.; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Eggert called the meeting to order, and led the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested two additions to today's Agenda: <br />a) As Item 13-A-3 to today's Agenda, United Artists <br />Cable's donation of ornamental plants for SR -60. <br />b) As Item 13-A-4, a request from the League of Women <br />Voters. <br />Commissioner Bird requested the addition of a Parks & <br />Recreation Committee report as Item 13-C-1 and the addition as Item <br />11-G-6 of a status report on the installation of the traffic signal <br />at U.S. #1 and Highland Drive. <br />Commissioner Bowman wished to add under her matters a request <br />for funds from the Treasure Coast Coalition of Local Governments. <br />Commissioner Wheeler requested the addition as Item 13-E-2 of <br />a discussion regarding committee assignments and liaison positions. <br />Administrator Chandler requested a one week deferment of Item <br />9-A-2 - Request by Council of 100 for Partial Funding. <br />Attorney Vitunac wished to add a brief announcement under his <br />matters. <br />tiff;1k T`�: <br />d V e <br />
