APR ] 4 19-972 <br />1. A plat in conformance with the originally approved preliminary <br />plat; <br />2. An Engineer's Certified Cost Statement for Construction of the <br />Completed Subdivision Improvements; <br />_ 3. A Warranty/Maintenance Agreement for the Required Subdivision <br />Improvements; <br />4. A security agreement, acceptable to the County Attorney's <br />Office, to guarantee the submitted Warranty/Maintenance <br />Agreement, and Bill of Sale; <br />5. An Engineer's Certified Cost Estimate for Construction of <br />Required Sidewalk Improvements; <br />6. A Contract for Construction of Required Sidewalk Improvements; <br />and <br />7. A security agreement, acceptable to the County Attorneys <br />Office, to guarantee_ the subdivision Contract for <br />Construction. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />The required improvements, except the subdivision's internal <br />sidewalk system, have been completed by the developer., and a <br />corresponding Certificate of Completion for the subdivision has <br />been issued by the Public Works Department. To guarantee the <br />performance of the required improvements, the developer has <br />submitted a Warranty/Maintenance Agreement and suitable security, <br />approved by the County Attorney's Office, to guarantee the <br />Warranty/Maintenance Agreement. The developer has submitted a <br />Contract for Construction for Required Sidewalk Improvements, to <br />provide for completion of the internal sidewalk system, pursuant to <br />the provisions of LDR Section 913.09(5)(D), and posted suitable <br />security, approved by the County Attorney's Office, to guarantee <br />the Contract. With these documents, the developer has complied <br />with the appropriate requirements to obtain final plat approval. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant final <br />plat approval for The Walker's Glen Subdivision, Unit 2 and accept <br />the submitted Warranty/Maintenance Agreement, authorize the <br />Chairman to execute the Contract for Construction and accept the <br />posted securities to guarantee the Warranty/Maintenance Agreement <br />and the Contract for Construction. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously granted <br />final plat approval, accepted the Warranty - <br />Maintenance Agreement, authorized the Chairman to <br />execute the Contract for Construction, and accepted <br />the posted securities to guarantee the Warranty - <br />Maintenance Agreement and the Contract for <br />Construction as recommended by staff. <br />e SAID DOCUMENTS ARE ON FILE <br />IN THE OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET <br />8 <br />
