The Chairman opened the Public Hearing and asked if anyone <br />wished to be heard in this matter. There being none, she closed <br />the Public Hearing. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Ordinance 92-10, repealing those chapters in the <br />County Code (1974 Edition) that reflect special <br />acts and transferring those special acts to an <br />appendix to the new edition of the County Code. <br />ORDINANCE 92-, in <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, REPEALING THOSE CHAPTERS IN -THE <br />COUNTY CODE (1974 EDITION) THAT REFLECT <br />SPECIAL ACTS AND TRANSFERRING THOSE <br />SPECIAL ACTS TO AN APPENDIX TO THE NEW <br />EDITION OF THE COUNTY CODE. <br />WHEREAS, a number of Chapters in the Indian River Code <br />are Special Acts of the Florida Legislature and not County Codes and <br />therefore cannot be amended or repealed by the County, and <br />WHEREAS, these Special Acts should appear in an Appendix <br />to the Code rather than in the body of the Code, <br />WHEREAS, orderly administration dictates that those <br />Chapters in the the Code (1974 edition) which reflect Special Acts be <br />repealed, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida that: <br />33 <br />mnKo <br />APR 211992 <br />
