Indian River County I Impact Fee Update Study <br /> Net Impact Cost per Student <br /> The net impact fee per student is the difference between the cost component and the <br /> credit component. Table X-8 summarizes the three-step process used to calculate the net <br /> impact cost per student for public schools in Indian River County. <br /> First, the total impact cost per student is determined. This is the sum of the weighted <br /> average facility impact cost per student from Table X-4 and the transportation and ancillary <br /> facility cost components per student from Table X-5. <br /> Second, the total revenue credit is determined. This is the sum of the capital improvement <br /> revenue credit per student from Table X-6 and the debt service revenue credit per student <br /> from Table X-7. <br /> Third, the net impact cost per student is determined, which is the difference between the <br /> total impact cost per student and total revenue credit per student.
