Tuesday, May 5, 1992 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, May 5, 1992, at <br />9:00 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; <br />Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Don C. <br />Scurlock, Jr.; and Gary C. Wheeler. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County <br />Attorney; Joseph Baird, OMB Director; and Barbara Bonnah, Deputy <br />Clerk. <br />Chairman Eggert called the meeting to order. <br />Reverend Raymond Huddle, pastor of Redeemer Lutheran Church, <br />gave the invocation, and Commissioner Bird led the Pledge of <br />Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA/EMERGENCY ITEMS <br />Chairman Eggert requested the addition to today's Agenda as <br />Item 11-A of an item regarding State surplus property in the area <br />of SR -60 and I-95. <br />Commissioner Bowman requested the addition under her matters <br />of a discussion regarding the duplication of material in the Agenda <br />packets and the County purchasing recycled paper. <br />Administrator Chandler requested a deferment of Item 7-H - <br />Amendment to Administrative Policy Manual. <br />Chairman Eggert requested that the County Attorney's matter, <br />Item 12, be moved up to Item 9-B as the second discussion item. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously added, <br />moved up, and deferred the above items. <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES <br />Chairman Eggert asked if there were any corrections or <br />additions to the Minutes of the Regular Meeting of March 17, 1992. <br />There were none. <br />� MAY U 5 1992 J <br />
