ORDINANCE NO. 92- 20 <br />BOOK [,A. <br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE <br />ZONING ORDINANCE AND ACCOMANYING ZONING MAP FROM RFD TO RS -1, <br />FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF 58TH <br />AVENUE (RINGS HIGHWAY), SOUTH -OF 4TH STREET, AND DESCRIBED <br />HEREIN, AND PROVIDING FOR EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency on such matters, has held a public hearing <br />and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this rezoning <br />request; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River <br />County, Florida, did publish and send its Notice of Intent to <br />rezone the hereinafter described property; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has determined that <br />this rezoning is in conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of <br />Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has held a public <br />hearing pursuant to this rezoning request, at which parties in <br />interest and citizens were heard; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Board of County <br />Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, that the Zoning of <br />the following described property situated in Indian River County, <br />Florida, to -wit: <br />All of Tract 9, less the North 660 feet thereof; and all of <br />Tract 16, less the South 622.66 feet thereof; all in Section <br />17, Township 33 South, Range 39 East as shown on Plat of <br />.Indian River Farms Company as filed in Plat Book 2, page 25, <br />Public Records of St. Lucie County, Florida; now lying and <br />being in Indian River County, Florida. Containing 39.157 <br />acres more or less. <br />Be changed from RFD to RS -1. <br />All with the meaning and intent and as set forth and described in <br />said Zoning Regulations. <br />Approved and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Indian River County, Florida, on this 5 day of May , 1992. <br />This ordinance was advertised in the Vero Beach -Press -Journal <br />on the 13 day of April , 1992 for a public hearing to be <br />held on the 5 day of May_ , 1992 at which time it was <br />_moved for adoption by Commissioner Wheeler , seconded -by <br />Commissioner Bowman , and adopted by the following <br />vote: <br />84 <br />
