Since developed lots for the <br />site will be at least five ( 5 ) acres in size and located outside of <br />the USA, individual wells can be used on each lot, consistent with <br />the Department of. Environmental Health's requirements. This is <br />consistent with Potable Water Policy 1.6, which allows the use of <br />private wells for single family units in rural areas, where <br />approved by regulatory agencies. With these conditions, the <br />potable water concurrency test has been met for the subject <br />request. <br />-Wastewater <br />As with centralized water service, county wastewater service is not <br />currently available for this site, since the property is located <br />outside of the county's urban service area. Because developed lots <br />for the site will be at least five (5) acres in size and located <br />outside of the USA, individual septic tanks may be used on each lot <br />consistent with the requirements of the Department of Environmental <br />Health. This is consistent with Sanitary Sewer policy 1.6 which <br />allows septic tanks for single family units in rural areas, where <br />approved by regulatory agencies. With these conditions, the <br />wastewater concurrency test has been met for the subject request. <br />-Solid Waste <br />Solid waste service includes pickup by private operators and <br />disposal at the county landfill. Solid waste generation by 176 <br />units on the subject site will be approximately 284 Waste <br />Generation Units (WGUs), or 841 cubic yards per year. This is <br />based upon the level of service standard of 2.37 cubic yards per <br />capita per year. A review of the solid waste capacity for the <br />active segment for the county landfill indicates the availability <br />94 <br />
