County Administrator Chandler advised <br />that this is the <br />proposed anti-drug grant for next fiscal year and that the total <br />amount of the grant is $138,816 with the County match of $46,272 <br />for a grant total of $185,088. The County match for this current <br />fiscal year was funded through the Law Enforcement and Forfeiture <br />Fund while the prior year was funded through the General Fund. We <br />made a request to the Sheriff to again fund the matching funds for <br />next fiscal year, but he indicated that he could not because of <br />budget constraints and anticipated uses of that fund. There has <br />been a request submitted to the Sheriff from the Substance Abuse <br />Council for $15,000 for a new program which the Sheriff indicated <br />would be funded through the Law Enforcement and Forfeiture Fund, <br />and that matter will be coming to the Board within the next couple <br />of weeks, <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0, <br />Commissioner Wheeler being absent) approved the <br />grant applications and authorized the Chairman's <br />signature, as recommended by staff. <br />APPLICATIONS WILL BE PLACED ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO <br />THE BOARD WHEN FULLY EXECUTED AND RECEIVED <br />INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT FOR MUTUAL AID WITH OKEECHOBEE COUNTY - <br />EMERGENCY SERVICES DISTRICT <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 5/14/92: <br />23 <br />MAY <br />
