D. itAND STAFFED ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEER <br />BY: DEPARTMENT OF UTILITY SERVICES <br />SUBJECT: GLENDALE TERRACE (24TH AVENUE) WATER LINE EXTENSION <br />FINAL PAY REQUEST <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY PROJECT NO. UW -91 -24 -DS <br />BACKGROUND <br />The subject project for construction of a water main to service <br />residents of Glendale Terrace has been completed. The installation <br />has been accepted by the Department of Utility Services, and proper <br />certification has been provided to the Department of Environmental <br />Regulation. <br />ANALYSIS <br />On December 3, 1991, the Board of County Commissioners approved <br />funding of $29,241.00, for this project, and the contractor is now <br />requesting final payment. The contractor's final cost totaled' <br />$24,462.14. The contractor has previously been paid $21,951.13; the <br />amount due is $2,511.01. . <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends approval <br />of the attached request for payment in the amount of $2,511.01 for <br />services rendered. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />request for final payment from Driveways, Inc., in <br />the amount of $2,511.01, as recommended by staff. <br />FINAL PAY REQUEST <br />IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />r'b7 <br />JUN <br />
