f <br /> PROCLAMATION <br /> DESIGNATING APRIL 10 THROUGH APRIL 15, 2016 AS <br /> CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS WEEK <br /> WHEREAS, victims of crime across America need and deserve support and <br /> assistance to help them cope with the consequences of crime; and <br /> i <br /> WHEREAS, national Crime Victims' Rights Week offers us all the opportunity to <br /> promote Strength In Unity in helping victims and survivors of crime through a wide range of <br /> supportive services offered by over 10,000 community and justice system-based programs, and <br /> the more than 32,000 federal and state statutes that define and protect their rights; and <br /> WHEREAS, by being united against crime and for victim's rights and services we gain <br /> strength as individuals, as communities, and as a nation as a whole, and offer strength to <br /> victims who seek to recover in the aftermath of crime; and <br /> I <br /> ;WHEREAS, America has joined together annually each April since 1981 to recognize <br /> the needs and rights of crime victims and survivors during National Crime Victims' Rights Week. <br /> INOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br /> COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA that April 10 through April 15, 2016 <br /> be designated as CRIME VICTIMS' RIGHTS WEEK in Indian River County, and the Board <br /> honors crime victims and those who serve them during this week and throughout the year. <br /> Adopted this 5th day P of April, 2016. <br /> BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, <br /> INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br /> Bob Solari, C airman <br /> h Flescher, Vice Ch <br /> �• % r, airman <br /> 4, <br /> Pete D.
