Gray, Jr. D6 DV -3 — FWNE-I5-OFF-002354 Coastal Engineer SUBJECT: FIND Project Agreement No. ICW-IR-16-01 i Small Scale Derelict Vessel Removal Program DATE: April 5, 2016 BACKGROUND With the assistance of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Division of Law Enforcement (FWC), the County identified four (4) derelict vessels within the Intracoastal Waterway. In accordance with the provisions of Sections 705.103 and 823.11(1)(a), Florida Statutes, the County received removal authorization from the FWC for each derelict vessel. In ;addition to the FWC removal authorization, staff received the required Florida Department of Environmental Protection Permit (No. 31-0337600-001) and the US Army Corps of Engineers Permit (No SAJ-2015-03075 (NW -TSD)) permitting removal of each derelict vessel from the waterways.
