After review of the <br />license agreement, it appears that it is set to expire on August 25, 2012. <br />In considering renewing agreements similar to this license agreement, the Board of <br />County Commissioners has sought consideration in the form of fair market rental value <br />of the licensed property. Our Public Works Director estimates that it would cost <br />approximately $600 dollars to construct each parking space. Since there are fifteen <br />spaces, total construction costs would be approximately $9,000. If you calculate an <br />annual rate of 10% of the gross value of the improvements that rental rate would equal <br />$900 per year ($75.00 month). Therefore the County staff would be willing to <br />recommend renewal of the license agreement for an additional ten year period with an <br />annual license fee of $900 per year effective August 25, 2012. <br />Should,you have any questions concerning this matter, please do not hesitate to contact <br />me. <br />Sincerely yours, <br />William K.
