GO ORANGE FOR HUNGER <br />One In six people on the Treasure Coast and Okeechobee face hunger. <br />This September, we ask that you Go Orange for Hunger to raise awareness <br />of this critical issue. As individuals, charities, businesses and government, <br />we all have a role to play in getting more food to people in need. <br />WHY GO ORANGE FOR HUNGER <br />ACTION MONTH? <br />To celebrate Go Orange Day on September <br />1st and bring awareness of the issue of hunger <br />in our community throughout September, <br />buildings, landmarks and people across the <br />country will go orange. <br />Hunger Action Month is our opportunity to <br />be a part of a month-long movement that <br />has a real and lasting impact on the mission <br />to end hunger in America. <br />In 2015 more buildings, landmarks and people <br />than ever before turned their lights orange, <br />wore orange or went orange on social media <br />in commemoration of Hunger Action Month <br />However you choose to participate, thank you <br />for your commitment to ending hunger in our <br />community! Please remember to share, post <br />and tweet how you Go Orange for Hunger <br />this September using ##HungerActionMonth <br />Donate. Consider these <br />great ideas <br />• Wear orange clothing on September 1st <br />and ask co-workers, friends and families to <br />join you. Take a group photo and tweet it <br />to @FeedingAmerica and @TCFoodBank <br />using $tHungerActionMonth <br />• Light your home orange for the month <br />by purchasing orange light bulbs and <br />replacing your outdoor or indoor lighting <br />with them. <br />• Ask the manager of your office building, <br />house of worship and community landmark <br />if they can light up the building in orange <br />for the month, a week or just one day. <br />Cover lighting fixture with orange lighting <br />filters, gels or create a visual display using <br />the Hunger Action Month Logo. <br />• Tweet about #1HungerActionMonth and <br />include the color orange or the Hunger <br />Action Month logo in your social media <br />profile photos during September. <br />TREASURE COAST <br />FOOD BANK <br />-EER MG' <br />.-.....r AMERICA <br />245 <br />
