ORDINANCE NO. 2016- 007 <br /> Permit means a written document issued by the department granting permission for a specific activity. <br /> Person means any individual, firm, partnership, association, corporation, company or business <br /> organization of any kind, excluding individuals acting under the direction of the supervisor. <br /> Recreation facility means a facility designated by the board for recreational purposes on property owned, <br /> leased or used by the department. <br /> Supervisor means either the park or recreation supervisor depending on the context. <br /> Vehicle means any wheeled conveyance, whether motor powered, animal drawn or self-propelled. The <br /> term shall include any trailer in tow of any size, kind or description. <br /> SECTION 2. Section 205.08, Festivals, is repealed, as follows: <br /> Section 205.08. - Festivals. <br /> unincorporated ar a of Indian River County unless he shall first secure from the board a special <br /> entertainment permit for said festival. <br /> {2) The permit required by this section shall not be issued unless the following conditions are met <br /> e patrons from said parking facilities to the festival area,approved by <br /> the county administrator; <br /> - .. • • - -- - - - <br /> d. A plan for the provision of adequate security and traffic control in and around the festival <br /> ar a, approved by the sheriff of Indian River County; <br /> c. Full disclosure must be made by the promoters to the board of the financial backing of <br /> the festival and the names of all persons or groups who will perform at said festival; <br /> f. Any other reasonable condition set by the board in its discretion. <br /> {3) Under no circumstances shall any person, firm, corporation or partnership operate any festival <br /> which will continue for more than one (1) eight hour period without a twenty four hour rest <br /> period before any continuation of the festival. Reserved. <br /> SECTION 3. Section 205.09, Sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages at designated <br /> recreational facilities, is amended to read: <br /> 2 <br /> CODING: Words in strike through format are deletions to existing text; words in underlined format are <br /> additions. <br />
