Purpose <br />School District of Indian River County Transportation Dept. <br />City of Vero Beach <br />City of Vero Beach <br />City of Vero Beach <br />Civil Air Patrol <br />Municipal Airport <br />Municipal Marina <br />Recreation Department <br />Florida National Guard <br />Indian River County Dept. of Emergency Services <br />Fire Rescue Division <br />Indian River County Public Works <br />Indian River County Sheriff's Office <br />Indian River County Volunteer Ambulance Squad <br />Senior Resource Association, Inc. <br />United States Army <br />United States Coast Guard <br />The purpose of this ESF is to coordinate the use of transportation resources <br />to support the needs of local governments, volunteer groups and other <br />emergency support groups requiring transportation assistance to perform <br />their emergency response, recovery and assistance missions. <br />B. Scope <br />The provision of transportation support includes: <br />Performing necessary actions to assist with emergency evacuation <br />and re-entry of threatened areas; <br />2. Processing all transportation assistance requests from the EOC; <br />3. Allocating and/or prioritizing public and private transportation <br />resources for the transportation of people, materials, goods, and <br />services to impacted areas. This includes the modes of highway, rail, <br />Indian River County Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan Annex I - Page ESF #1-1 <br />
