Request that all Department heads brief Director and <br /> employees of emergency responsibilities County Administrator <br /> for both pre- and post-storm operations. <br /> 5. Request Human Resources recruit ESF #5 <br /> volunteers to staff the EOC from County <br /> employees released from regular duties. <br /> 6. Coordinate traffic control. ESF #16 <br /> 7. Determine the wave of shelter openings Director, ESF #5, ESF #6, <br /> and coordinate with ESF #6 ESF #8 and ESF #18 <br /> representative. American Red Cross will <br /> be advised to place shelter managers, <br /> school principals and other necessary <br /> shelter personnel on stand-by. SNS key <br /> staff will be advised of same. <br /> 8. PUBLIC: Advise those residing in an ESF #14 <br /> evacuation area to secure their property <br /> and prepare for a possible evacuation. <br /> 9. Verify logistical readiness of shelters to ESF #6 & ESF #11 <br /> handle mass care (adequate amounts of <br /> food, water, supplies). <br /> 10. Issue statements advising construction ESF #14 <br /> companies to secure all construction sites. <br /> 11. Issue statements to area businesses to ESF #14 <br /> secure their property. <br /> 12. Ensure adequate stock of food, water and Staff <br /> supplies for the EOC. Confirm EOC <br /> food arrangements with the IRC Jail. <br /> -21- <br />
