Call in each ESF #5 <br /> Primary Agency EOC representative, <br /> conduct a briefing. <br /> • Specifics of incident <br /> • Name and location of ICs <br /> • Location of incident <br /> • Number of injured/dead <br /> • Current weather conditions <br /> • Expected time of activation <br /> • Security/safety message <br /> • Housekeeping <br /> 5. Request ESF #2 activate communications ESF #2 <br /> plan and initiate staging at shelters and <br /> the EOC. <br /> 6. Meet with ESF #2 to confirm ESF #2 <br /> communications with the shelters. <br /> 7. Prepare media area and provide a ESF #14 <br /> schedule for regular media updates. <br /> 8. PUBLIC: Activate the call-down system to ESF #5 <br /> provide updates. <br /> 9. Continue participation in FDEM Staff <br /> conference calls. <br /> 10. Activate the Emergency Information ESF #5 <br /> Center (EIC), provide a briefing and <br /> handbook to the phone operators. <br /> -23- <br />
