b. Volunteers <br /> (1) Hobart Park <br /> 5350 77th Avenue, Wabasso <br /> C. Disaster Field Offices (DFOs) <br /> Following a major or catastrophic disaster that exceeds the <br /> State's ability to respond, in which the Emergency or Major <br /> Disaster Declaration is granted by the President, federal <br /> assistance to disaster victims becomes available under three <br /> program areas: Individual Assistance, Public Assistance, and <br /> Hazard Mitigation. The administration of these programs is <br /> coordinated through a joint federal/state effort in a DFO,which <br /> is usually located in the impacted area. The following areas <br /> have been pre-determined to house DFOs: <br /> (1) Sebastian City Hall <br /> 1225 Main Street, Sebastian <br /> (2) Fellsmere City Hall <br /> 22 S. Cypress Street, Fellsmere <br /> (3) Indian River Co. Administration Bldg. <br /> 1801 27th Street, Vero Beach <br /> (4) City of Vero Beach Community Center <br /> 2266 14th Avenue, Vero Beach <br /> d. Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) <br /> Should the President authorize a Declaration of Disaster, <br /> Disaster Recovery Centers will open to provide the public <br /> access to apply for federal assistance funding. The centers <br /> will provide residents and businesses with information on <br /> available programs and assist applicants with completion of <br /> the necessary forms/documentation.
