d. Telephone outages <br /> Telephone outages that are reported need to be verified. Once <br /> verification is made, communications will immediately notify all <br /> affected PSAPs and Emergency Management. <br /> e. Weather event notifications to field personnel, PSAPs, and the <br /> local Weather Service Office <br /> 1. Indian River County Sheriff's Office Communications <br /> Section will notify Deputies and PSAPs of severe weather <br /> conditions. <br /> 2. PSAPs will notify all officers in the field of weather <br /> conditions, and notify the local national weather service <br /> office of the following; <br /> i. Tornado sightings <br /> ii. Downed trees <br /> iii. Flooding <br /> iv. Other weather events (lightning strikes, hail, etc.) <br /> f. Water related accidents <br /> Notify the Coast Guard or Florida Fresh Water Game and Fish <br /> Commission as appropriate of the following: <br /> (1) Boating accidents <br /> (2) Any event on water that causes an emergency response <br /> 3. Emergency Operations (Recovery) <br /> PSAPs will support recovery operations as needed. <br /> B. COORDINATION, DIRECTION AND CONTROL <br /> 1.
