ATTACHMENT A <br /> Minutes for the Indian River County Go-Line Transfer Hub Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting <br /> Date May 19, 2016 <br /> Time. 10:00 am <br /> Rich Szpyrka, Indian River County Public Works begins meeting All attendees state their names <br /> and company affiliation. <br /> Mr. Szpyrka turns the meeting over to Joe Schulke <br /> Mr. Schulke reminded all attendees to make sure they sign in since the pre-bid meeting is <br /> mandatory (see Attachment B Mandatory Meeting Sign In Sheet). He provided an agenda packet <br /> (see Attachment C)for the meeting to review then the meeting will be opened up for questions The <br /> design team will attempt to answer any questions as best they can. However,a typewritten response <br /> will be submitted as an addendum and it may differ from the answers given today, if we find that our <br /> response contradicts the contract documents, or a change is necessary The questions, responses, <br /> and discussions will be typewritten and added to the agenda package. It will be submitted to all <br /> contractors as a part of addenda no. 1., <br /> Location of project <br /> The Indian River County Go-Line Transfer Hub will be located at 1225 161 Street, Vero Beach, <br /> FL 32960 The site is east of Vero Beach High school,just west of the railroad tracks. The COVB <br /> Public Works Department accesses the site and will need to do so during construction so keep <br /> this in mind. <br /> Description of Work <br /> The construction of two structures, one is a partially enclosed bus shelter with bathrooms, a <br /> storage room, an open area with vending machines, and water fountains ("Primary Building <br /> Structure"). The second is a "U" shaped open canopy structure that goes around the building <br /> ("Secondary Building Structure"). <br /> The primary building structure is about 1,732 SF, with concrete slab, block masonry walls, and <br /> pre-engineered wood roof trusses All architectural design has been completed. <br /> The exterior "U" shaped secondary building structure is about 10 FT wide and about 330 FT in <br /> length The building system needs to be designed by the contractor or designated manufacturer. <br /> This is envisioned to be a pre-manufactured type of building that will match substantially the look <br /> and elevations of the plans prepared by the architect. <br /> The project is required to comply with the "Green Commercial Building Designation Standard <br /> of the FGBC <br /> The project is funded by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and is subject to <br /> compliance requirements of the Buy America Act that Chris Murphy will discuss shortly <br /> Project Team <br /> The project team is listed on the cover of the plans but any questions or concerns during this bidding <br /> process need to go only to Jennifer Hyde, IRC Purchasing Manager <br />
