The pre-bid meeting is mandatory. <br /> B. Attendance/sign in sheet—make sure you sign in. <br /> C Format of this meeting. An agenda packet has been prepared for this meeting. <br /> Please make sure you obtain a copy <br /> 1. Review the information in this packet. <br /> 2. Open up the meting for questions. <br /> D The design team will attempt to answer any questions at today's meeting. <br /> However,a typewritten response will also be provided. The typewritten response <br /> could differ from what is told to you today,if we find that our response contradicts <br /> the contract documents,or a change is necessary. The questions,responses,and <br /> discussions will be typewritten and added to the back of this agenda package_ It <br /> will be submitted to all contractors as a part of addenda no.1. <br /> 1.01 LOCATION OF WORK <br /> The Indian River County Go-Line Transfer Hub will be boated at 1225 16°f Street,Vero <br /> Beach,FL 32960. <br /> 1.02 DESCRIPTION OF WORK <br /> 1. The construction of one enclosed/partially enclosed habitable single story <br /> structure,several exterior roof covered pre-manufactured structures, and all <br /> associated site work[The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise goal for this <br /> project is 2.2%or greater): <br /> a 1,732 SF single story structure constructed with a concrete slab on grade <br /> with a monolithic concrete foundation,concrete block masonry walls and <br /> pre-engineered wood roof trusses. All architectural design has been <br /> provided by IRC(owner) <br /> b. 3,410 SF+/- exterior roof covered, pre-manufactured building structure(s) <br /> approximately 1 OFT+/- width and with a total length of 330 FT +/-, lying <br /> in an irregular / non- linear shape. Preliminary architectural design has <br /> been provided by IRC(owner) The building system design shall be signed <br /> and sealed by a Florida Licensed architect and/or engineer as required by <br /> the Building Department and provided by the contractor. <br /> c. Site improvements for the 1.60+/-acre site development area,together with <br /> "off-site" improvements in 16th Street,including all clearing,earthwork, <br /> paving,drainage, and utilities,sidewalks,landscaping,irrigation systems. <br /> 2. The project is required to comply with the "Green Commercial Building Designation <br /> Standard of the Florida Green Building Coalition,Inc." <br /> 3. The project is funded by the Federal Transit Administration(FTA)and is subject to <br /> compliance requirements of the Buy America Act(1982)as amended as well as other <br /> standard Federal Requirements incorporated into the contract. <br /> 1 <br />
