It is our understanding that the requested Roof Condition Assessments will address the <br /> following facilities in Vero Beach,FL: <br /> Facili Street Address Estimated Roof Size(SF) <br /> Administrative Annex 1028 20`'Place 10,000 <br /> Courthouse 2000 16'Avenue 57,800 <br /> Main Library 1600 2151 Street 30,100 <br /> Total: 97,900 <br /> A summary of the work included in this proposal is as follows: <br /> A. Conduct site visit(s)to interview appropriate facility personnel and review the condition of the roof <br /> system components to determine recommended remediation. <br /> B. All reasonably accessible, exposed surfaces of the system are carefully examined to locate specific <br /> problems and evaluate the overall needs of the areas in question. <br /> C. Develop a scaled roof outline drawing in AutoCAD. <br /> D. Digital photographs are taken to highlight areas of concern and illustrate discrepancies due to age, <br /> application, design, or material performance. General locations of the photographs are shown on <br /> the roof outline drawing. <br /> E. Core samples will be taken on unconfirmed areas to determine conditions and compositions of roof <br /> systems at the core locations. In addition to reporting the type of components, typical comments <br /> relate to adhesion, delamination, deterioration, moisture content and anticipated service life. All <br /> openings in the system will be repaired with compatible materials.
