SPECIAL CALL MEETING <br />Tuesday, June 29, 1992 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Special Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Monday, June 29, 1992, at <br />9:30 o'clock A.M. Present were Carolyn K. Eggert, Chairman; <br />Margaret C. Bowman, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Gary C. <br />Wheeler; and Don C. Scurlock, Jr. Also present were James E. <br />Chandler, County Administrator; and Deputy County Attorney William <br />G. Collins, II. <br />The Chairman called the meeting to order. <br />DISCUSSION RE SETTLEMENT WITH PRINCE CONTRACTING COMPANY INC. <br />Chairman Eggert advised that Attorney Collins will explain the <br />emergency of this Special Call Meeting. <br />Attorney Will Collins explained that this special call meeting <br />has been called to discuss settlement of pending litigation in the <br />sunshine. Normally, we give more public notice than we actually <br />had available, and, if in fact, we're going to discuss the <br />settlement here, we should state for the record that a member of <br />the press is here. The reasons for which an emergency exists which <br />precludes more notice of this special call meeting is that <br />Commissioner Bird is going to be leaving town today and will not be <br />N 2,91992 °X00 ho <br />
