Resolution Establishing Honorary Position of Indian River County Poet <br />a.m. Laureate <br />(memorandum dated August 2,_2016)______________________________________________________ 689-691 <br />(Clerk's Note: This Item was heard in conjunction with Item 5.G.) <br />Attorney Reingold recalled that on July 12, 2016, the Board of County <br />Commissioners had voted to establish the honorary position of Indian <br />River County Poet Laureate, and agreed to accept the selection made by <br />the Laura Riding Jackson Foundation, Inc. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner O'Bryan, SECONDED by Vice <br />Chairman Flescher, the Board unanimously approved Resolution 2016- <br />076, establishing the honorary position of Indian River County Poet <br />Laureate; and agreeing that the Laura (Riding) Jackson Foundation, Inc. <br />will present individual(s) qualified for such honorary position to the <br />Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County for <br />appointment. <br />14.
