FIRST EXTENSION TO AGREEMENT <br />FOR PROVIDING PROFESSIONAL DESIGN AND BUILDING <br />SERVICES FOR INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />This Extension to that certain Agreement to provide professional design and building services is entered <br />into effective as of September 13, 2016 by and between Indian River County, a political subdivision of the State of <br />Florida ("County") and Barth Construction, Inc., a Florida corporation, having its principal address at 1717 Indian <br />River Blvd, Suite 202A, Vero Beach Florida 32960 ("Design/Builder"). <br />BACKGROUND RECITALS <br />A. Effective August 16, 2011, the County and the Design/Builder entered into an Agreement for Professional <br />Design and Building Services. <br />B. Article 4 of the Agreement contains the term and renewal provisions. <br />C. Pursuant to the Agreement, the parties desire to again renew the Agreement by this Extension. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing, and other good and valuable consideration, the <br />receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby acknowledged, the County and the Design/Builder agree as follows: <br />1. The background recitals are true and correct and form a material part of this First Extension. <br />2. The first renewal term shall commence effective as of September 13, 2016 and shall end on September 13, <br />2017; two additional renewal terms are available beyond this first renewal. All renewal terms are subject <br />to 30 -day termination in accordance with the terms of this Contract. <br />3.
