Gray, Jr <br />� <br />Coastal Engineer <br />CONSENT <br />SUBJECT: Work Order No. 21 Ecological Associates, Inc. <br />Sector 3 Beach Restoration Project <br />2016 Post Construction Biological Monitoring Services <br />DATE: <br />May 17, 2016 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On March 19, 2013 the Board approved a contract with Ecological Associates, Inc. (EAI) for <br />professional coastal environmental services in Indian River County for a two-year term, 2013- <br />2015. On March 17, 2015 the Board renewed the contract until March 19, 2017. EAI is the <br />selected County consultant for professional biological monitoring services related to the Sector <br />3 Beach Restoration Project. <br />The proposed Work Order No. 21 provides year 2016 post construction biological monitoring <br />services relative to sea turtle monitoring and reporting and Nearshore Hardbottom monitoring <br />and reporting of the Sector 3 Beach Restoration and Sector 3 Dune Repair Project Area. By <br />Permit, annual Post Construction Biological monitoring is required following a large scale beach <br />restoration project.
