VACATION RENTALS <br />Indian River County <br />Vacation rentals (residential units rented -out or offered for rent for a period of less than 30 days) are allowed <br />in unincorporated Indian River County, subject to the following: ' <br />1. State license from Florida Department of Revenue: 850-487-1395 or <br />www.myfloridalicense.com/dbpr <br />2. Local Business Tax Receipt (LBTR) from the Tax Collector of Indian River County — 1800 27t1 <br />Street, Vero Beach FL, 32960 (772-226-1358 or 772-226-7343). The application is available on- <br />line at littp:/hv\vw.irctax.com/l.ocBusTaxApp-Ne\vBusChkList.litml <br />3. Register with the Clerk of the Court for tourist development tax: 772-226-3111. <br />4. Compliance with Indian River County special parking regulations for vacation rentals: <br />• Maximum number of cars parked outside a carport or garage: <br />— Rental unit without carport or garage: 2 parking spaces plus 1 space per bedroom <br />with a maximum total of 5 spaces <br />— Rental unit with carport and/or garage: 1 parking space per bedroom with a maximum <br />total of 5 spaces. <br />Short Term Vacation Rental Advisory Committee meeting information (back-up and minutes): <br />wN«w .i rcgov.co m/Boards/STV RAC <br />NOTE: On April 16, 2016 the Board considered recommendations from the vacation rental <br />committee and directed staff to initiate the process for adopting a proposed vacation rental ordinance. <br />The proposed ordinance was considered by the PZC at a May 26, 2016 public hearing and a June 2, <br />2016 Special Call meeting. The BCC is scheduled to hold a final hearing on June 21, 2016 at 9 am in <br />the County Commission Chambers. <br />5.
