maintain a renter and vehicle register listing the names, home <br />addresses, telephone numbers, vehicle license plate and watercraft <br />registration numbers of each such renter. Each lease and this register <br />shall be kept by the vacation rental manager and available for inspection <br />by county code enforcement personnel during business hours. ©(9)® <br />Each vacation rental or unit must be registered, licensed and meet all <br />applicable state requirements contained in F.S. ch. 212 (Florida Tax and <br />Revenue Act) and F.S. ch. 509 (Public Lodging Establishments), as <br />implemented by the Florida Administrative Code, and as they may be <br />amended. ©(10)© The use of the vacation rental or unit must comply <br />with (a) all State of Florida Department of Health standards, (b) all State <br />of Florida Department of Environmental Protection standards for <br />wastewater treatment and disposal, (c) all applicable county and state <br />fire, safety and other codes, ordinances, rules and regulations, and (d) <br />the Americans With Disabilities Act, if applicable. (11) ©Each vacation <br />rental or unit shall have a vacation rental manager, as provided in <br />section (d). The vacation rental manager shall reside within the county, <br />and be available for the purpose of promptly responding to complaints <br />regarding conduct or behavior violating of this section (a). The name, <br />address and telephone number of the vacation rental manager, the <br />telephone number of county code enforcement department and the <br />number of the vacation rental permit shall be given, by written notice, <br />to each owner of property abutting the vacation rental or unit. (12)[0 <br />The vacation rental manager shall promptly respond to each complaint <br />concerning violations of this section (a) by occupants of each vacation <br />rental or unit. The person who made the complaint shall be contacted <br />by telephone or in person, and informed as to the results of the actions <br />taken by she vacation rental manager. A record shall be kept of the <br />complaint and the vacation rental manager's response for a period of at <br />least three (3) months after the incident, which shall be available for <br />inspection by the county code enforcement department during business <br />hours. <br />(b)o zimcat?,n rental permit.® An owner or agent shall obtain an annual <br />vacation rental permit for each vacation rental or unit prior to renting <br />any dwelling as a vacation rental or unit, as defined in section 912.03, <br />except as provided for under section (c).
