4.05 Upon a request directed to the ENGINEER (James W. Ennis, P.E., PMP 772-226- <br /> 1221), OWNER will provide Bidder access to the Site to conduct such examinations, <br /> investigations, explorations, tests, and studies as Bidder deems necessary for submission of a <br /> Bid. Bidder shall fill all holes and clean up and restore the Site to its former condition upon <br /> completion of such explorations, investigations, tests, and studies. <br /> 4.06 [This paragraph has been deleted intentionally] <br /> 4.07 It is the responsibility of each Bidder before submitting a Bid to- <br /> A. examine and carefully study the Bidding Documents, including any Addenda and the other <br /> related data identified in the Bidding Documents; <br /> B. VISIT THE SITE AFTER CONTACTING THE ENGINEER (JAMES W. ENNIS, P.E., PMP <br /> (772) 226-1221) TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS IN ADVANCE, AND BECOME FAMILIAR WITH <br /> AND SATISFY BIDDER AS TO THE GENERAL, LOCAL, AND SITE CONDITIONS THAT MAY <br /> AFFECT COST, PROGRESS, AND PERFORMANCE OF THE WORK; <br /> C. become familiar with and satisfy Bidder as to all federal, state, and local Laws and <br /> Regulations that may affect cost, progress, or performance of the Work; <br /> D. carefully study all reports of explorations and tests of subsurface conditions at or <br /> contiguous to the Site and all drawings of physical conditions in or relating to existing surface or <br /> subsurface structures at or contiguous to the Site (except Underground Facilities) which have <br /> been identified in the Supplementary Conditions as provided in paragraph 4.02 of the General <br /> Conditions, and carefully study all reports and drawings of a Hazardous Environmental Condition, <br /> if any, at the Site which have been identified in the Supplementary Conditions as provided in <br /> paragraph 4.06 of the General Conditions; <br /> E. obtain and carefully study (or assume responsibility for doing so) all additional or <br /> supplementary examinations, investigations, explorations, tests, studies, and data concerning <br /> conditions (overhead, surface, subsurface, and Underground Facilities) at or contiguous to the <br /> Site which may affect cost, progress, or performance of the Work or which relate to any aspect of <br /> the means, methods, techniques, sequences, and procedures of construction to be employed by <br /> Bidder, including any specific means, methods, techniques, sequences, and procedures of <br /> construction expressly required by the Bidding Documents, and safety precautions and programs <br /> incident thereto; <br /> F. agree at the time of submitting its Bid that no further examinations, investigations, <br /> explorations, tests, studies, or data are necessary for the determination of its Bid for performance <br /> of the Work at the price bid and within the times and in accordance with the other terms and <br /> conditions of the Bidding Documents; <br /> G. become aware of the general nature of the work to be performed by OWNER and others <br /> at the Site that relates to the Work as indicated in the Bidding Documents; <br /> H. correlate the information known to Bidder, information and observations obtained from <br /> visits to the Site, reports and drawings identified in the Bidding Documents, and all additional <br /> examinations, investigations, explorations, tests, studies, and data with the Bidding Documents; <br /> 00200-Instructions to Bidders REV 04-07 <br /> 00200-3 <br /> F�\Public WorksIENGINEERING DIVISION PROJECTS\1425-S County Park-General Use FieldWdmin\bid documentsWlaster Contract Documents\00200-Instructions to <br /> Bidders REV 04-07.doc Rev.05/01 <br />
