'JL 14 1992 <br />ADMINISTRATIVE POLICY MANUAL - GRIEVANCE PROCEDURE <br />P,0 Jr' 8, P".uC J -5,F) <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 7/7/92: <br />To: James Chandler, Date: July 7, 1992 <br />County Administrator <br />From: Jack Price, PersonneSub: Administrative <br />Policy Manual <br />--------------------------------------------------------- <br />Attached is the Administrative Policy Manual unit "GRIEVANCE <br />PROCEDURE", page 1, which revises the unit dated 6-1-89 in the <br />Personnel Section of the manual. <br />This revision affects items: <br />I. c. in which the term "physical handicap" is changed to <br />"disabilities", and <br />3. in which the words "law or" are added in the third line. <br />The changes are designed to align County grievance processes with <br />the requirements of the Americans With Disabilities Act. <br />This policy revision has been reviewed by your staff, the Executive <br />Aide to the Board of County Commissioners and the County Attorney. <br />Thanks for your assistance. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (3-0, <br />Commissioner Bird being absent) approved the <br />revisions to the Administrative Policy Manual <br />unit "Grievance Procedure", as set out in the <br />above staff recommendation. <br />50 <br />
